The 358 Enhancer MkII is the second generation of an enhancer process from MIA Laboratories that allows you to control the balance of low, mid-low, mid-high and high frequencies on both the master and individual graters. It can be used in many applications where you need to make small to more drastic frequency balance adjustments.
At its core, the 358 MkII uses multiband phase processing as well as side-chain detection based on the basic analogue envelope detector circuitry.
This device can be of great help when you need to liven up a mix and make it more “natural”. Its process facilitates the creation of rounded, tight subwoofers, driving mids and lows, rich mids, and great highs.
Unlike a conventional EQ or filter, the 358 MkII uses internal multiband phase processing for more dynamic and realistic frequency content. Four main controls allow precise control of the constructive (reinforcing) process. The crossover frequencies can also be adjusted to suit your needs and are set by default to the classic 150 Hz, 400 Hz and 2.4 kHz.
