with a few exceptions (Q-Clone, Curves Equator, Curves Resolve, IR1 Series, IRLive, GTR Series, Tune Real-Time, X-Noise, and Z-Noise). - New features: COSMOS Sample Finder, Curves AQ, InTrigger Drum Replacer, Key Detector, StudioVerse, and Sync Vx are now fully built on Apple Silicon

, and modify finished tracks even without the original multitrack recording.
Installation
Uninstalling/Cleaning
If you are installing Waves for the first time, skip this step.
- Run the attached file “R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd”.
- Make sure that the processes COSMOS.exe, WavesLocalServer.exe, WavesPluginServer.exe are not running.
- Uninstall the previous version.
- Uninstall Waves Central.

If you feel you don’t have enough experience, search for “WaveShell*” on your C drive and then delete all the files found.

Installing Waves
- Unzip our installer, run it and install.
- Scan or rescan the plugins in your DAW. If you have updated your plugins, a full rescan is recommended.
- If you are using sample-based instruments, find the path to the instruments in the application launcher or GUI.

Restarting Waves background servers
This is useful if background processes are not working correctly.
Incorrect background servers can cause various problems (with licensing, scanning, presets, etc.).
- Run the attached file “R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd”.
- Delete the cache files in the “%APPDATA%\Waves Audio\” and “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Waves Audio\” folders.
- Run these EXE files manually.
