We are pleased to introduce Cakewalk Precision Suite, a collection of plug-ins designed for professional mixing and mastering.
This package combines the existing L-Phase MB and L-Phase EQ plug-ins with a powerful adaptive limiter within a single set of precision tuning tools. In this update, we have modernized the user interface and improved the stability of all plug-ins.
The Precision Suite includes three plugins:

Adaptive Limiter
- LPEQ (linear phase equalizer)
A high-resolution 20-band equalizer designed to transparently shape the frequency spectrum without phase distortion.
Key features:
Support for up to 20 independent nodes with double-click instantiation.
Channel assignment options for each node: stereo, left only, right only, mid, or side channels.
Dynamic spectral analysis allows for “Before,” “After,” and “Both” modes to visualize and match EQ curves to the source material in real time.
Parallel equalization eliminates phase issues.
- LPMB (Linear-Phase Multi-Band )
6-band dynamic processor that uses linear-phase crossovers to maintain signal integrity across the entire frequency spectrum.
Key features:
6-band dynamic compression, expansion, and gating control.
Individual attack and release settings for each band depend on the band’s center frequency.
Midside and side mastering allows for targeted compression of the center image based on stereo width.
Linear-phase precision crossovers prevent frequency rolloff at crossover points, even with significant gain reduction.
- Adaptive Limiter
Professional limiter with proactive peak power limiting, intelligent recovery timing and multi-standard metering.
Key Features:
4 operating modes, including Adaptive (overall), Aggressive (character-adding), Dynamic (transient preservation), and Pump (drum and edge frequencies).
Bypass volume control when limiting is enabled, allowing you to hear the dynamic effect without “volume shifting.”
Comprehensive K-metric metering (K-12, K-14, K-20), LUFS monitoring, and real-time histograms.
MP3 codec preview for checking for compression artifacts and real-time Power Dithering for final mastering.
