VertiVerb VRS23 is a faithful imitation of the Dynacord® VRS 23 (Vertical Reverb System) – an echo and BBD reverb from the early 80’s.
This unit uses 10 BBD chips combined into a complex cascade matrix to create echo and reverb.
As the manufacturer claimed, back in the 1980s, the VRS23 utilized a “new” reverb structure that eliminated the “basement” effect typical of earlier reverb units. This resulted in a unique combination of delay and reverb, making the VRS23 a truly unique device.
We’ve gone further and added new features such as FBK and CLK (clock speed) controls that allow you to fine-tune the amount of feedback and the BBD clock speed.
