It was originally developed as a tool for quickly simulating various instruments , such as cello, winds, piano, violins and fuzz guitar. It has 30 presets, but many of them sound more or less the same. So we’ve narrowed it down to the 19 best-sounding ones.
This synthesizer has a distinct, assertive and energetic character. Our most inspiring sessions were when we truly relied solely on the sounds of the lead singer, allowing the sounds themselves to take the lead.
The Wrongtools Soloist remains a simple monosynth, true to its origins. Recording was done manually three times, over three cycles.
