We could mention that we intended to record the best jazz drum library ever created, but in the end we got something much more; drums that go beyond the narrow boundaries of the genre and rather define the era – the era of music, ranging from jazz, blues to hip hop and rock.
We could mention the presence in Blackbird Studio of 1,400 microphones, 35 Pultec EQ channels, 24 Fairchild compression channels and hundreds of external microphone / pre-channels, including Telefunken, Neve, API, RCA and Chandler. Or how this studio is not only a natural choice for someone who is in the music industry, but also in order to give every project that has ever come in and out of its doors a documented magic.
We could even talk about how drummer and world musician Roy “Futureman” Wooten heard every beat and whirlwind, recorded as part of a larger whole, as part of a musical sequence, and not as a single, monotonous hit, and that the result permeates every sample with intensity and unheard of strength. Or we could mention how these sounds embody the past, embody the present and at the same time, how they help you shape tomorrow’s sound thanks to the endless possibilities of Superior Drummer.
We could even boldly declare that this drum library is the most comprehensive ever created, recorded through chains of pendant and microphone signals that will leave even the most experienced veterans in fear.
But we think that the sounds of the drums speak for themselves. Entry is not required.
