In the mid-late 80s, death metal was a peripheral genre of underground groups. Then, in the early 1990s, such as Death, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse and several other American groups, mainly from the Florida and East Coast regions, began to gain momentum. At the same time, on the opposite continent in the UK, such as Carcass, Benediction and Napalm Death, advanced in their direction. On the other side of the North Sea, in Scandinavia, bands like Entombed, Therion and At the Gates added their mix. By that time, the rest of the world had gained popularity, and death metal became a phenomenon. Since then, trends in heavy music have come and gone, but death metal has not given up and has not given up. Perhaps no genre has evolved more organically, with a constantly updated fan base and a constant increase in groups. Today,
