Magnus is a vintage (1960s) analog chord organ with 37 keys. This three-octave chord organ was originally manufactured by Magnus Harmonica Corporation. It has six major and six minor chords. The MHC was founded by Danish immigrant Finn Magnus, who supplied the United States troops with accordions during World War II, and then sold millions of affordable electric chord organs and songbooks under the control of Magnus Organ Corporation until the late 70s, and then acquired World Book Encyclopedia. Subsequently, he stopped production.
But it was not there! We caught his greasy, oily tone of the old school with endless sustain and dense staccato. To go beyond the usual library of analog chord organ samples, we also created 20 great sound user chord presets and effects and 40 unique sound designs that can be chromaticly reproduced as atmospheric synthesizers, dronescapes and pads, or used directly in your DAW to emphasize and texture.
We have provided a graphical interface with many great sound controls that allow you to flexibly change shape in many ways. You can control the levels of volume, attack, release, temporal displacement, vibrato and octave. The Glide control slider allows you to play legato and portamento. You will also find an adaptable LFO system with a selectable LFO shape, target modulation parameter, speed, intensity, time synchronization and appearance time. You can also apply your choice of 13 low-pass, high-pass and FX filters with assignable modulation control parameters, including control of speed, module, expression, aftertouch, key position and step sequencer table. You can also use our customizable arpeggiator with a built-in sequencer Velocity table and direction control, note time, swing, randomization and duration. The included FX rack provides you with an easy-to-use interface that allows you to fully customize and shape your bold analog sound in accordance with many creative styles.
