Woven Violin is a deeply expressive solo violin library designed with an emphasis on organic movement and evolving textures. Recorded in a carefully controlled and intimate space, Woven Violin’s varied articulations layer on top of each other as well as stand alone. The library’s interface lets you choose between traditional articulation selection and dynamic articulation mapping, so from intricate underscores to sweeping cinematic folk, Woven Violin blends into the fabric of your expression.

We’re proud to feature Avery Bright, a virtuoso violinist, violist, composer, and arranger whose work embodies the essence of Somerville Sounds’ folk cinema. As a performer and collaborator, Avery brings a soulful touch and lyrical phrasing that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary storytelling.

His extensive career as a studio musician has led him to record with legendary artists like U2, OneRepublic, Josh Groban, Leon Bridges, and Dolly Parton, while his evocative string work has graced the soundtracks of Disney+, Netflix, Paramount+, Amazon, and Hulu. Outside the studio, Avery creates and collaborates under the name RORE, exploring sonic landscapes that push the boundaries of strings in contemporary music.

At his Nashville studio, The Beach, Avery strives for innovation and emotional depth, making the Woven Violin more than just an instrument, but a gateway to expressive, cinematic storytelling.
