“Skew” is a non-linear audio reverser. Perfectly synchronized with the host, it continuously buffers incoming audio – and plays it back in chunks.

The main trick of this algorithm is that it is able to change the playback speed by selecting non-linear curves, thereby changing the pitch in various ways.

With an extremely wide control range for each parameter, Skew can be used to create a variety of rhythmically accurate effects such as reverse, tape rewind, pitch slide, detune, glitch and scratch.

• Audio reverser with accurate transport synchronization
• Six non-linear curves for changing the speed of sound playback
• Fractional fragment size control with 256 possible values (from 1/16 note to 16 bars)
• Finely tuned smoothing envelopes with optional overlap
• DJ-style crossfade control
• Delay filters for all continuous parameters for smooth, click-free tuning
• Support for “mono › mono”, “mono › stereo”, “stereo › stereo” channel configurations
