Drumulator was an almost instant hit for E-mu. It was aimed directly at the Lynn drum territory, but was much more affordable. Real-time sequencing was combined with built-in samples in a surprisingly dense, sandy 12-bit quality, and the samples themselves were the crown of glory: twelve great sounding sets that determined the sound of countless hits. Hell, you can even pair this thing with Apple II for visual editing and programming sequences, which is a bit like Fairlight. It was a technological miracle of its time.

Playing with the Drumulator is a lot of fun – these cool blue buttons and red LEDs, a nice easy-to-use real-time sequencer and this gorgeous sound wall … it’s a really powerful machine. Our version allows you to use this power directly in your chosen DAW. Time to have some fun!
