The plugin is designed to manipulate the microsonic aspects. Mimik writes the short incoming parts of the audio to a buffer, which you can adjust to change the pitch, create a stutter effect, to completely change your rhythms and sounds.
The buffer can be modulated randomly. This allows you to stretch the pitch without changing the duration of the audio. You can reverse, slice, freeze and rephrase almost everything. Mimik can be used for subtle nuances of articulation or more extreme processing.
