When it comes to strumming, the result can often be very artificial and ugly, even when using many popular and well-known libraries. Our goal was to develop a strumming library that would sound realistic and be very versatile in its application across all musical genres. That’s why we picked up our beloved Collings mandolin to get that great sound.
We decided to record in stereo with two Schoeps CMC 5 microphones in XY position with two Neve 1073 mic preamps. We then played chord after chord, countless chords… We skillfully composed the samples into a small masterpiece, in which we can now present you with realistic sounding mandolin strumming.
The amount of circular repetitions and the easy use of the controller make this instrument sound natural.
We are proud to offer you sounds that you will not find anywhere else!
