We’re excited to introduce the Evolution Jumbo 12, a long-awaited 12-string acoustic addition to our Evolution guitar series, featuring a Taylor 355. This guitar boasts silky highs yet plenty of body in the lows and mids, no doubt thanks to its larger size. Played in a mix, the Evolution Jumbo 12 stands out with its crisp, bright tone. Playing with feather-light dynamics, it will add a subtle shimmer to your arrangement.
We developed this library in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, one of Utah’s most respected recording studios. Guy Randle, owner and engineer at Rosewood Recording Company, used analog audio equipment to skillfully highlight the guitar’s rich tonal qualities. The Evolution Jumbo 12 includes both a pre-recorded signal and an enhanced signal. While we believe the latter best captures our vision of acoustic guitar sound, you can also use the dry signal for added flexibility.
For sampling, Guy Randle collaborated with Ryan Tilby, a versatile multi-instrumentalist who has performed at countless music festivals and toured Europe extensively. His compositions have been featured on the Discovery Channel, Outdoor Photo Adventures, and other well-known television shows. Ryan Tilby also offers remote recording services for clients worldwide who require tracks for guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, and ukulele.
