FIXED
- FIXED Crash when playing a note after changing the output configuration with a preset already loaded.
- FIXED Delay Replika in Diffusion mode did not output sound if the note duration was less than the delay time.
- FIXED Visual glitches when resizing Kontakt windows on multiple displays.
- FIXED Replika delay incorrectly called delay values when loading snapshots switching to Tape, Analogue and Vintage styles.
- CPU overload has been FIXED during tempo surges, when Replika’s delay is bypassed.
- API FIXED When creating a resource container, scripts from the Resources/scripts folder were not immediately available to the builder for linking.
- FIXED API When linking a script using the set_instrument_script_linked_filename() function, the script was not applied.
KNOWN ISSUES/REMOVED
- RECOGNIZED ISSUE When Kontakt is launched from VS Code, logging of incoming KSP/API messages does not work (works when Kontakt is launched from Sublime Text).
- REMOVED several entries in Options, which are now permanently enabled:
“Interface > Show mapping and switching of keys on the virtual keyboard.”
“Interface > Auto-update file browser.”
“Processing > File Browser: Double-clicking an audio file loads the tool.”
- Launch the Kontakt 7 7.8.0 Setup program on your computer.
- Disable your antivirus and extract K7 Next Patcher.7z, then run Kontakt 7 Next Patcher as administrator.
(If you unchecked AAX or VST3 during installation, the patcher will tell you that it cannot find the file, just click the NO button).
Click the Patch button and wait for the green text DONE to appear
in the lower left corner.
Can I install the latest version of Kontakt 7 over a previous version of Kontakt 7 (bobdule)?
YES! You can, just make sure you use the same location (default).
Can Kontakt 6 or Kontakt 7 work side by side?
Yes! You can install both versions without any conflicts.
