An ensemble of 16 violins and 16 violas, Misterioso Strings is a soft, aleatoric library of tonal textures performed by a combined ensemble of 16 violins and 16 violas.

Designed for emotional orchestral settings, this collection features lively, gracefully executed major and minor textures with a strong emphasis on usability. Texture orchestrations are confined to a two-octave range to maintain clarity, while offering up to three octaves of playable chord timbres for flexible orchestration.

Controls are intuitive – playing softly will trigger a minor chord, playing harder will trigger a major chord. Dynamics and crossfades can be controlled with CC for expressive shaping.

Articulations have been carefully chosen to deliver maximum musicality, while providing enough variety for expressive, back-to-back performance combo patches. Most textures have been played con sordino, sul tasto, or both, creating a subdued timbre that blends seamlessly with other orchestral libraries in any template.
