A plug-in that allows you to control the bass / treble balance of a stereo mix or mono channel, including:

• Internal multiband phase processing for more dynamic and realistic frequency content
• Analog based detection envelope detector circuits
• “Phase-Compensation” mode for enhanced stereo image

It can be used in many situations that require small to harsher frequency balance adjustments, but unlike a conventional EQ or filter, the 358 uses internal multi-band phase processing.

This results in more dynamic, realistic frequency content that can be adjusted with two main controls for the constructive (boost) process, adding up at the classic frequencies of 150 Hz (LF) and 2.4 kHz (HF).

In addition, Phase-Compensation applies a fixed process to the entire bandwidth of the program material to enhance the stereo image.

This “phase deflection” process has been carefully designed as a one-way conversion and enhancement of the stereo signal, especially for sounds that are “panned” or contain information about the position of the instrument. It enhances the perceived soundstage and clarity of each source or instrument without significantly altering the frequency or dynamic content of the processed sound.
