Sequent is a modular multi-effects box, ideal for working with sound on stage or in the studio.

• Eleven effect blocks can be directed in a thousand ways.
• Precisely modeled filters capable of self-oscillation.
• Individual step-by-step sequence for each parameter.
• Randomization of each parameter separately.

Key Features

Effects:

The Sequent has eleven separate effects units: a clock looper; two filters switchable between lowpass, bandpass and highpass modes and capable of self-oscillation even without audio input; oversampling distortion block (which doubles as a lo-fi bitcrusher); gate with variable depth and slew rate; apeak; and a delay unit capable of creating sub-millisecond delays, great for creating everything from dub-style echoes, slapbacks and bouncing balls to metal comb filters or flanger effects. And new in Sequent 2: a resampler and a unique reverb with freeze and step sequencing. Plus, combine effects in new ways with splitter and merge modules.

Modular Routing:

Effect blocks can be connected in almost unlimited ways by dragging virtual audio cables between them. Connect effects in parallel, in series, or in any combination you can imagine.

Sequential change of parameters:

Want variety? Each effect parameter has its own step sequencer, ideal for building interesting modulation motifs. Easily create polyrhythmic sounds by individually setting the number of steps and speed for each effect.

Beat Slicing:

Slice and rearrange audio in real time. Use the Sequent’s flexible looper to create anything from subtle loop variations to microprogrammed glitches.

Accident:

Creative block? Let Sequent do all the work. Various randomness controls for each parameter allow you to create everything from subtle variations to full-fledged aleatory compositions.

Patterns:

Combine sequencer and effects settings into patterns that you can instantly switch between using the on-screen interface or even using a MIDI controller.

MIDI Learn:

Controls can be easily mapped to a hardware controller using the simplified MIDI Learn feature.
