Virtual opsix replicates the capabilities of the original FM synthesizer. The plugin combines several synthesis engines: frequency modulation with six operators, subtractive, semi-modular, analog modeling, waveforming and additive. Korg notes that the synth has been redesigned to be more convenient for use on computers. However, the operator mixer that is typical for opsix has been carried over into the plugin unchanged.

- [PC/Mac] Previously, double-clicking allowed direct numerical editing of parameters, but starting with this version, it will reset the parameter to its default value. Additionally, clicking on the parameter label now enters numerical input mode, enabling you to edit values from there.
