We set out to create a new standard for virtual solo strings, offering tons of inspiration without sacrificing flexibility… and featuring the unmistakable, iconic sound of world-renowned violinist Joshua Bell.

The Joshua Bell Violin offers a huge variety of standard articulations such as sustain, pizzicato, staccato, spiccato, and more, as well as a wealth of samples that you are unlikely to find anywhere else. We have captured an incredible legato range of beautiful, mesmerizing harmonics, as well as “super-flautando,” a special technique that Joshua Bell uses on his over three-hundred-year-old violin.

Although this VI is incredibly powerful, containing almost 20,000 individual samples, it is designed to be easy to use. Run it straight out of the box and it will inspire and surprise you! This virtual violin uses intelligent and predictive programming that uses a wide range of musical tendencies and rule sets. Complete with 12 different types of legato transitions, you can authentically play Joshua Bell’s violin at a variety of tempos, dynamics and styles, capturing the nuances of a real performance!
