Improve your mix! With over 90 professional audio system and consumer device models, a new graphic style, and a practical analytics section, MixChecker Ultra is the next step in the evolution of your reference mix checker.

Create an Amazing Mix with Ultra-Realistic Device Simulators

Choose from over 90 simulators of the most famous and popular audio devices. Including modern consumer devices like laptops, phones or headphones. Try out the sound characteristics of standard studio monitors and headphones.
Check how your mix sounds in cars, club headphones or small Bluetooth speakers.
You also have the opportunity to test your mixes in real noisy environments like the subway, busy streets, shopping malls and more.

IR Loader

With MixChecker Ultra you can import your own impulse responses.
You can check how your mix will sound in popular acoustic rooms, your friend’s studio or even a cathedral. (Standard WAV IR files are supported)

[b]Advanced Device Controls

To better understand how your mix sounds on devices, simply change the settings for each device.
Adjust the volume of each device independently or set up a basic stereo system for simulation to better match real conditions. Our engine also takes into account the non-linear behavior of devices and simulates their distortion. You can easily turn on the distortion function and see if your mix will clip or distort on selected devices.

Dive into your mix

Improve the quality of your mix with MixChecker Ultra’s analytical tools.
Quickly evaluate key track parameters with the loudness meter, dynamometer, spectral analysis, stereo analysis and goniometer. Compare your track’s values with the reference track with the included player module.

Choose from 6 different modules

Each module can be selected independently from the selection window. You can also expand each module into a larger window to see more detailed analysis information.

The most important parameters of your mix

Loudness
Check the loudness of your track and easily understand if you are exceeding the set threshold.
The Loudness module includes presets for the most popular streaming services, which set the threshold to their level and help you determine if your track meets their criteria

Dynamics

Check the dynamic range of your track to quickly see the difference between the loudest and quietest sections.
(The value displayed is the PSR (peak-to-short-term ratio) value – the difference between the short-term loudness and the maximum true peak value, measured over a three-second interval.)

Spectrum

Quickly view the frequency spectrum analysis of your track and compare it to a reference track.
This gives you a quick overview of which frequencies you need to focus on to improve your track.

Gonio

View a stereo image of your track and compare how balanced your mix is.
With this module, you can also easily spot errors in your track, such as an inverted signal, completely mono, or slightly tilted to one side.

Stereo

Find out how busy the frequencies of your mix are in the stereo field. You can then determine if some important frequencies are only present on one side of the spectrum.

Player

This is the main module of MixChecker Ultra. You can import a reference track you like and quickly compare your track to the reference in each module. This speeds up your workflow and helps you identify areas to improve your mix. (Supports WAV and MP3 formats)
