The Martinic development team introduced the new Kee Bass plugin, emulating the Rheem monophonic bass synthesizer of the same name.

Presented by VSTi imitates the work of vintage bass device Rheem Kee Bass, trying to accurately convey its sound. Some modern options have been added to make it more versatile and unique. There are no samples inside. Instead, he uses subtractive synthesis and schematic modeling to recreate the musical qualities of his physical prototype. As a result, the output has a powerful low-frequency bass instrument, pleased with its ease of use.

The appearance of the plug-in repeats the old-school design and form of the Rheem Kee Bass. On the front side, there is a lever for adjusting the bass force, a bypass switch and four buttons for adjusting the tone, fuzz, sustain and attenuation. Such visual pens are suitable for easy control of the audio signal. However, they will not let you radically distort the sound.

The settings contain an advanced panel for deeper editing of parameters. Interestingly, most of the controls are missing from the original instrument. Easily control the cutoff and resonance levels of the lowpass filter, experiment with modulation, change the volume envelope, turn on the polyphony function, or transpose the keyboard. A distinctive feature of the plugin is the full overlap of the entire spectrum of 128 MIDI notes. You can use it to play leads and simple background pads.

At the moment, more than 30 presets are included to simplify the work. Vintage jazz, arpeggio lead, dark strings and more can be found among ready-made presets
