In addition to numerous minor architectural details, Arturia plugins also suffer from a paranoid flaw in the license verification of protected presets—each of the more than 10,000 protected presets is verified as legitimate, significantly increasing plugin initialization time. Therefore, to speed up loading, all protected presets have been cleared and unlocked. Now, these cleared presets can be used even with imperfect third-party versions (such as R2R) that didn’t support protected presets.
