The Handcrafted Piano is designed with multi-dimensional flexibility, allowing you to control both the space and the timbre of the instrument.
With three analog-processed microphone positions (Neumann M49, Coles 4038, Neumann M62) and two preset external reverbs (Lexicon 960, Bricasti M7, Quantec Yard Stick), the interface allows you to place the instrument in space with extreme precision. Likewise, the lower slider smoothly changes the intensity of the sound: from the bright and warm default to percussive and subdued. In addition, there is a choice of ten preset mixes tailored to different moods and contexts.
The instrument was mixed on the same Cadac console that mastered Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in 1975.

Handcrafted Piano features a synth engine created entirely from original piano recordings, capable of creating otherworldly sounds and endless possibilities of variation with the same spatial depth and richness of an analogue synth.
The synth contains over 150 sounds and over 120 carefully selected presets, including pads, leads, plucks and basses that perfectly match the piano and are astonishingly expressive. This turns Handcrafted Piano into a fully-fledged compositional toolkit, going far beyond traditional keys and capable of performing entire works from start to finish with ease.
