A collection of sounds for sound and game design. Live, natural, professional recordings. We used amazing equipment to capture all the sounds in the best possible way. People were scared, and their voices were recorded, distorted and sampled in every possible way. Guitars, organs, metal, glass and synthetics – most of them were warped, scratched, beaten, bent and broken – all captured in a variety of ways. The piano was recorded, sampled and smashed to pieces.

The story behind iScream is short and sweet. Three guys got together one day over a beer and discussed what they loved most – music! Like any story that starts with a beer, this one ended with us having a great idea to just go out, have fun and record something we liked.

It’s that simple. Unlike other beer stories, this one sounded like a cool idea even days after that night. So that’s what we did: we took our gear, went out into some dark alleys and just recorded stuff. At first, we were making stuff for our own projects. But later, some of our friends convinced us to share it with the rest of the world. So we did it and we sincerely hope you enjoy it!

We know our sound designer friends love to tweak knobs, play with raw recordings and assembled WAV files. We all love it, so we prepared them for you!
