Classic Baxandall shelf curves from the 1950s. A simplified version of the Mid/Side version included in the new Coral2 mastering plugin. It uses the same “AI Deep Learning” technology, is fast and incredibly musical – just as powerful as the Coral2 suite.
The interface has just six knobs and a switch to turn the preamp section on or off. The knobs adjust the cutoff and shelf of the EQ curve, as well as the volume gain. In practice, the Coral Baxter sounds very good, as expected from an Acustica Audio product. Equalizers like Baxandall work best for broad and subtle tonal changes in a signal. They are great for adding bass to a signal or boosting high frequencies without sounding unnatural.
All files were taken from the Acustica Audio release from R2R and repackaged as an installer to facilitate installation/removal and save hard drive space.
