We took a six-month journey to fill what, in our opinion, is a gap in today’s synthesizer library market. Scoring Synths is an exciting end product for recording two of the most famous synthesizers in the world, rearranging them or “globalizing” them into one of the best sounding living rooms in the USA and re-recording them with many priceless vintage microphones. From the synthesizers themselves to the transducers, preamps, mastering loudspeakers, microphones and the sound stage, not a single sound compromise was reached in the process of creating this powerful new instrument. Scoring Synths is truly the first of its kind sample library.

The film’s current assessment relies heavily on synthesizers to accompany and enhance sections of the orchestra, but these synthesizer tones rarely provide the sound benefit of recording in the same acoustic space. Classical monosyntheses offer wealth in terms and emphasis, but they lack flexibility and the ability to remember. Modern software synthesizers have seemingly limitless possibilities, but they do not reach the sound characteristics in comparison with their older analog counterparts. Our goal was to take the best aspects of old and new craft tones, specially designed to create scores and orchestral compositions, immerse them in a lush acoustic environment and create something that simply has not existed until now.
